The Argos Olympus 2 is a perfect example of this ambition. While it isn’t a flawless watch, the sheer effort and vision behind it deserve immense credit.

The Good: Premium Features & Stunning Design
​Argos has really packed some incredible value and aesthetics into this timepiece:

The Glass: The inclusion of a sapphire crystal glass is an absolute win. It provides incredible clarity and premium scratch resistance, keeping the face looking pristine.
​The Heart: The mechanical movement performs flawlessly. It’s smooth, reliable, and gives the watch the soulful character that enthusiasts look for.
​The Aesthetics: The pyramid design language is stunning. It catches the light beautifully and gives the watch a unique, high-end presence on the wrist.

The Catch: The Metal Bracelet's Durability
​While the watch head is a triumph, the experience with the metal bracelet has been a bit of a mixed bag. Visually, the two-tone bracelet looks absolutely awesome and complements the watch perfectly. However, it seems to lack resistance to everyday wear.
​After just a few days of normal use, the polished center links and the clasp have already accumulated a noticeable amount of minute scratches. While minor surface scuffs (or "desk diving" marks) are normal for polished metal, seeing this many hairline scratches so early on raises some concerns. It makes me wonder what the state of the bracelet will look like after months or years of regular wear.
The Verdict
​The Argos Olympus 2 is proof that Indian watch brands can compete on design and mechanical integrity. It has its flaws—mostly centered around the bracelet's scratch resistance—but the excellent sapphire glass, flawless mechanical movement, and unique pyramid aesthetic make it a commendable effort. If you are looking to support a brand that is breaking boundaries, this is a beautiful piece to add to your collection, even if you have to be a little extra careful with the bracelet.

Picked up the Argos Olympus II recently, and I have to say I’m genuinely impressed. For the price, it’s hard to find a better package.

The Miyota automatic movement has been reliable, the finishing is clean, and the overall build quality feels solid. The design is what stands out the most, it’s stylish, unique, and gets noticed. I’ve already had quite a few people ask me which watch I’m wearing.

It wears comfortably, looks far more premium than its price tag suggests, and works just as well with casual outfits as it does with formals. So far, it’s been a great purchase and one that I enjoy wearing every day.
