What Is an Automatic Mechanical Watch?
An automatic mechanical watch is a mechanical timepiece that winds itself using the wearer's wrist movements. A rotor inside the watch harnesses kinetic energy, and providing it with enough kinetic energy leaves it with no need for manual winding if worn frequently.
Can I request a replacement for my watch?
Yes, we offer a 3-day replacement policy for all orders. If you receive a product with a manufacturing defect or damage sustained during transit, please report the issue to us within 3 days of delivery for a priority resolution.
How can I track my order?
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking link via Email/WhatsApp.
Can I switch between a leather strap and a metal bracelet?
Yes! Our leather straps are self-detachable, and the steel bracelets can be easily swapped by either purchasing a small tool from any watchmaker or by getting it done at the watch maker’s itself. We are trying to make detachable bracelets as soon as possible.
I received my watch. Can I still reach out for help?
Yes! However, if there are no further queries, we'll close your support ticket after confirming delivery. You can still reach out to us anytime.
Is Cash on Delivery (COD) available?
Partial COD is available for most serviceable pin codes, allowing customers to pay a small amount upfront and the remaining amount upon delivery.
Which Argos collection is best suited for my style and usage?
Apollo offers a more refined and dress-oriented aesthetic, while Olympus Variants feature a bolder and more classic design language. Recommendations can be personalized based on individual style preferences, usage, and budget.
Is the watch water resistant?
All Argos watches feature 50m (5 ATM) water resistance suitable for daily splashes, rain, and handwashing. Swimming or prolonged water exposure is not recommended.
Which movement company is used in the watches?
Apollo III and Olympus I use Seagull automatic movements, while Olympus II is powered by Japanese Miyota movements known for reliability and long-term precision.
Is Argos a completely Indian brand?
Argos is an Indian watch brand focused on creating premium automatic watches. While select components are sourced globally, all design, assembly, and customer experience operations are managed in India.
Can customers view more real-life photos/videos before purchase?
Customers can request additional real-life photos and videos through Email or other customer support channels before placing an order.
What exactly is covered under warranty?
Warranty coverage includes movement-related manufacturing issues and servicing support as per the applicable warranty policy. External or accidental damage is not covered.
Why are repair timelines perceived as lengthy, even for smaller issues?
Repair timelines may extend due to reverse pickup logistics, inspection processes, servicing requirements, testing, and courier transit timelines.
How long does it take for refunds to be processed?
Refunds are generally initiated within 72 working hours after the returned product successfully passes quality inspection.
