German Silver

German Silver, or "nickel silver," is an alloy made from copper, zinc, and nickel. This material is prized for its durability, as it resists tarnishing easily and has a soft, warm appearance that is very much like Silver but not expensive. German Silver is used in watchmaking for almost all kinds of parts, such as bridges and plates in the movement.

It is characterized by high force and does not rust easily; therefore, it is appropriate for accurate parts, giving an impression of elegance to the make of a watch. German Silver is used throughout German watchmaking, where it is valued for its quality and subtle elegance.
